Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Puducherry. The General Manager oversees daily plant and office operations, including production planning, quality control, inventory management, and maintenance coordination. The role includes supervising cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and company standards. The General Manager manages budgets, reviews financial reports, optimizes resource utilization, and supports cost-control initiatives. Additional responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, resolving operational issues, and supporting strategic projects to improve efficiency and profitability.

You will leverage Financial Modeling & Forecasting and Executive BI Dashboards alongside core competencies in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, Domain Expertise, Executive Leadership to maintain high operational rigor.
The General Manager position at Mahavir plastic company (Puducherry) carries an annual CTC range of ₹6L – ₹10L per annum (approx. ₹50,000 – ₹83,333 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in Management and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the Management and Manufacturing pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Mahavir plastic company.
- Lead portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and margin expansion for Mahavir plastic company's Management and Manufacturing function in Puducherry, ensuring full alignment with quarterly delivery roadmaps.
- Partner with regional delivery directors, finance partners, and product sponsors to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate high-impact client and executive stakeholder charters.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for cross-regional delivery standards and center-of-excellence playbooks across the Puducherry (Puducherry) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on strategic program velocity, delivery margin, and customer NPS and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Mahavir plastic company leadership.
