Working at the intersection of Software Engineering and regional delivery in Hyderabad, you will collaborate with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods to architect observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases and technical architecture RFCs, schema designs, and API contract specifications. Strong command over System Design, Cloud Architecture, Problem Solving, CI/CD is essential to sustain P95 API latency, deployment frequency, and production uptime (99.9%+).
The Software Engineer - Core Platform position at Swiggy (Hyderabad) carries an annual CTC range of ₹9L – ₹15L per annum (approx. ₹75,000 – ₹1,25,000 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in Software Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and scale mission-critical software solutions and distributed systems for Swiggy.
- Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, and QA teams to define scalable architecture patterns.
- Champion engineering excellence through thorough code reviews, unit testing, and continuous deployment.
- Drive performance tuning, latency optimization, and robust API design.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- 3–6 years of hands-on professional experience in relevant domain.

- Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and exceptional communication skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures within Software Engineering teams in Hyderabad or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
