Key Responsibilities
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Amazon.
- Lead high-throughput data processing engines and customer-facing product modules for Amazon's All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) function in Chennai, ensuring full alignment with quarterly delivery roadmaps.
- Partner with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate cloud-native microservices and automated deployment pipelines.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases across the Chennai (Tamil Nadu) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Amazon leadership.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers in a Onsite setup in Chennai.
- Proven track record of owning security-compliant service modules with strict error handling and failover and driving measurable gains in defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) or closely aligned roles comparable to Software Development Engineer II, Digital Acceleration.
- Strong working knowledge of APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes with the ability to synthesize complex operational data into clear decisions.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python within a fast-paced enterprise or high-growth environment.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
