You will bring proven domain expertise, introduce best practices, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems and application modules at EPAM Systems.
• Work with product leads and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into scalable web services.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and improve automated testing coverage.
• Monitor system health, analyze production metrics, and resolve architectural bottlenecks. Qualifications & Core Skills:
• B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated depth in modern web development frameworks, asynchronous architectures, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and relational/NoSQL datastores.
• Strong command of software design principles, data structures, and maintainable code craftsmanship.
Working at the intersection of Engineering & Technology and regional delivery in Coimbatore, you will collaborate with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods to architect observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases and technical architecture RFCs, schema designs, and API contract specifications. Strong command over TypeScript & JavaScript, React & Modern UI, Node.js & Microservices, Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP) is essential to sustain P95 API latency, deployment frequency, and production uptime (99.9%+).
The Senior Software Engineer - Java position at EPAM Systems (Coimbatore) carries an annual CTC range of ₹14L – ₹22L per annum (approx. ₹1,16,667 – ₹1,83,333 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in Engineering & Technology.
Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

- Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and relational/NoSQL datastores.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures within Engineering & Technology teams in Coimbatore or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
