In this position, you will take ownership of vital deliverables, collaborate closely with cross-functional peers, and play an integral role in accelerating NCR Voyix's operational and technological capabilities. You will bring proven domain expertise, introduce best practices, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems and application modules at NCR Voyix.
• Work with product leads and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into scalable web services.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and improve automated testing coverage.
• Monitor system health, analyze production metrics, and resolve architectural bottlenecks. Qualifications & Core Skills:
• B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated depth in modern web development frameworks, asynchronous architectures, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and relational/NoSQL datastores.
• Strong command of software design principles, data structures, and maintainable code craftsmanship.
In day-to-day execution, the Software Engineer (I) - Edge partners closely with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods to translate quarterly business priorities into observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases. You will leverage Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing alongside core competencies in TypeScript & JavaScript, React & Modern UI, Node.js & Microservices, Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP) to maintain high operational rigor.
The Software Engineer (I) - Edge position at NCR Voyix (Hyderabad) carries an annual CTC range of ₹8L – ₹11L per annum (approx. ₹66,667 – ₹91,667 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in Engineering & Technology.
Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated depth in modern web development frameworks, asynchronous architectures, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and relational/NoSQL datastores.
- Strong command of software design principles, data structures, and maintainable code craftsmanship.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures within Engineering & Technology teams in Hyderabad or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
