About the Role
As Suncrypto scales its Jaipur operations, the All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) practice is onboarding an accomplished Senior Backend Engineer. Based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, you will take direct ownership of low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures and drive measurable improvements across defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
In day-to-day execution, the Senior Backend Engineer partners closely with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers to translate quarterly business priorities into technical architecture RFCs, schema designs, and API contract specifications. You will leverage Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Automated CI/CD Pipelines alongside core competencies in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python to maintain high operational rigor.
The Senior Backend Engineer position at Suncrypto (Jaipur) carries an annual CTC range of ₹11L – ₹18L per annum (approx. ₹91,667 – ₹1,50,000 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed).
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Suncrypto.
- Lead low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures for Suncrypto's All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) function in Jaipur, ensuring full alignment with quarterly delivery roadmaps.
- Partner with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate distributed application services and resilient API gateways.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for clean, production-hardened code with automated unit and integration test coverage across the Jaipur (Rajasthan) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Suncrypto leadership.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Proven track record of owning technical architecture RFCs, schema designs, and API contract specifications and driving measurable gains in defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- 4 to 8 years of progressive experience in All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) or closely aligned roles comparable to Senior Backend Engineer.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers in a Onsite setup in Jaipur.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python within a fast-paced enterprise or high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical industry experience required for Mid-Senior Level roles.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling distributed application services and resilient API gateways within All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) teams in Jaipur or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Automated CI/CD Pipelines, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
