In day-to-day execution, the Sales Manager, Rigids PU - Performance Materials partners closely with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods to translate quarterly business priorities into clean, production-hardened code with automated unit and integration test coverage. You will leverage Git, Docker & Kubernetes and Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) alongside core competencies in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python to maintain high operational rigor.
The Sales Manager, Rigids PU - Performance Materials position at BASF (Delhi) carries an annual CTC range of ₹8L – ₹11L per annum (approx. ₹66,667 – ₹91,667 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in Engineering & Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate high-throughput data processing engines and customer-facing product modules.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for security-compliant service modules with strict error handling and failover across the Delhi (Delhi) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on P95 API latency, deployment frequency, and production uptime (99.9%+) and present data-backed optimization recommendations to BASF leadership.
- Design, review, and publish clean, production-hardened code with automated unit and integration test coverage while maintaining strict governance across P95 API latency, deployment frequency, and production uptime (99.9%+).
- Apply hands-on expertise in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design and Git, Docker & Kubernetes and Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) to elevate output quality and execution speed.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical industry experience required for Experienced Professional roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Git, Docker & Kubernetes and Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) with the ability to synthesize complex operational data into clear decisions.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python within a fast-paced enterprise or high-growth environment.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods in a Onsite setup in Delhi.
- Proven track record of owning clean, production-hardened code with automated unit and integration test coverage and driving measurable gains in P95 API latency, deployment frequency, and production uptime (99.9%+).
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling high-throughput data processing engines and customer-facing product modules within Engineering & Manufacturing teams in Delhi or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Git, Docker & Kubernetes and Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
