The Production Manger - Mechanical Assembly position at Larsen & Toubro (Coimbatore South) carries an annual CTC range of ₹7L – ₹10L per annum (approx. ₹58,333 – ₹83,333 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in Engineering & Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on operational turnaround time (TAT), SLA compliance rate, and cost per unit and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Larsen & Toubro leadership.
- Design, review, and publish capacity utilization plans, shift/workflow schedules, and throughput reports while maintaining strict governance across operational turnaround time (TAT), SLA compliance rate, and cost per unit.
- Apply hands-on expertise in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, Process Optimization and Workflow & Ticketing Systems and Quality & Compliance Checklists to elevate output quality and execution speed.
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the Engineering & Manufacturing pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Larsen & Toubro.
- Lead vendor and field partner alignment, quality audits, and cost control for Larsen & Toubro's Engineering & Manufacturing function in Coimbatore South, ensuring full alignment with quarterly delivery roadmaps.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, Process Optimization, Operational Execution within a fast-paced enterprise or high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical industry experience required for Experienced Professional roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Workflow & Ticketing Systems and Quality & Compliance Checklists with the ability to synthesize complex operational data into clear decisions.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in Engineering & Manufacturing or closely aligned roles comparable to Production Manger - Mechanical Assembly.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with regional operations heads, vendor partners, and field execution teams in a Onsite setup in Coimbatore South.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling cross-departmental coordination, resource scheduling, and SLA governance within Engineering & Manufacturing teams in Coimbatore South or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
