About the Role
Razorpay invites applications for the Principal Frontend Architect position at its Remote center (India). In day-to-day execution, the Principal Frontend Architect partners closely with regional delivery directors, finance partners, and product sponsors to translate quarterly business priorities into talent succession pipelines and high-performing leadership pods. You will leverage Financial Modeling & Forecasting and Executive BI Dashboards alongside core competencies in System Design, Cloud Architecture, Problem Solving, CI/CD to maintain high operational rigor.
The Principal Frontend Architect position at Razorpay (Remote) carries an annual CTC range of ₹16L – ₹28L per annum (approx. ₹1,33,333 – ₹2,33,333 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in Software Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and scale mission-critical software solutions and distributed systems for Razorpay.
- Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, and QA teams to define scalable architecture patterns.
- Champion engineering excellence through thorough code reviews, unit testing, and continuous deployment.
- Drive performance tuning, latency optimization, and robust API design.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- 5–10 years of hands-on professional experience in relevant domain.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or relevant academic discipline.
- Proven track record in driving scalable results, team leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and exceptional communication skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling high-impact client and executive stakeholder charters within Software Engineering teams in Remote or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Financial Modeling & Forecasting and Executive BI Dashboards, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
