The Lead Production (Press & Weld Shop) position at Varel Energy Solutions (Faridabad) carries an annual CTC range of ₹15L – ₹24L per annum (approx. ₹1,25,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in Engineering & Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the Engineering & Manufacturing pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Varel Energy Solutions.
- Lead high-throughput data processing engines and customer-facing product modules for Varel Energy Solutions's Engineering & Manufacturing function in Faridabad, ensuring full alignment with quarterly delivery roadmaps.
- Partner with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate cloud-native microservices and automated deployment pipelines.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases across the Faridabad (Haryana) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Varel Energy Solutions leadership.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Proven track record of owning security-compliant service modules with strict error handling and failover and driving measurable gains in defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- 7 to 12 years of progressive experience in Engineering & Manufacturing or closely aligned roles comparable to Lead Production (Press & Weld Shop).
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers in a Onsite setup in Faridabad.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python within a fast-paced enterprise or high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical industry experience required for Mid-Senior Level roles.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling cloud-native microservices and automated deployment pipelines within Engineering & Manufacturing teams in Faridabad or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
