The Chartered Accountant position at Kanakkupillai (Chennai) carries an annual CTC range of ₹12L – ₹20L per annum (approx. ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,66,667 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in Business Consulting and Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with external statutory auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate working capital optimization, cash-flow forecasting, and credit risk controls.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for on-time GST, TDS, and statutory regulatory filings with zero compliance gaps across the Chennai (Tamil Nadu) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on month-end close cycle time, reconciliation accuracy, and zero audit non-conformities and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Kanakkupillai leadership.
- Design, review, and publish internal audit schedules, risk control matrices, and vendor ledger sign-offs while maintaining strict governance across month-end close cycle time, reconciliation accuracy, and zero audit non-conformities.
- Apply hands-on expertise in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, Domain Expertise and GST & Statutory Compliance Portals and Automated MIS Reporting to elevate output quality and execution speed.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- 5–7 years of hands-on professional industry experience.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline.
- Proven proficiency with Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, Domain Expertise.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and team communication.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling working capital optimization, cash-flow forecasting, and credit risk controls within Business Consulting and Services teams in Chennai or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
