About the Role
Role: Vehicle EMC & EMI CAE Simulation & Evaluation Responsibilities: § Prepare CAE models using HYPERMESH/ANSA – Mesh discretization, Assembly, Constraints & Loads – for Automotive Sub-systems & Vehicles § System & Full vehicle simulation for EMC / EMI performance using EMCoS Studio and EMCoS SimDAT softwares.
§ Conduct 3D electromagnetic field simulation for a wide range of applications including RF/Microwave design, optics and photonics, antenna design and installed performance, specific absorption rate (SAR), bio-electromagnetics, co-existence, de-sense and interference, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental effects (E3), Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI)., Radiated Immunity (RI), Radiated Emissions (RE), Electro Static Discharge (ESD), Conducted Emissions (CE), Conducted Immunity (CI), and Transfer Impedance.
§ Interpretation of results, comprehend failure modes and provide directions for design countermeasures (Hardware / Software) by performing parameter studies on CAE model.
§ Report preparation and communication with stakeholders – design, testing – for implementation of countermeasures.
Interact with Testing teams for analyzing failures, correlation of CAE results with physical testing results and make improvements in CAE methodology. Technical / Functional:
§ Strong fundamentals of Electromagnetic theory, EMC/EMI principle, Signal & Power Integrity (SI/PI)
§ Good knowledge of working (Hardware & Software) of Automotive Sensors, Controllers, Electronics & Electrical circuits.
§ Experience in electromagnetic field simulation in automotive domain at subsystem & vehicle level, using analysis software - EMCoS Studio and EMCoS SimDAT; Proficiency in data analysis using Matlab / Simulink. § Experience in conducting and evaluating tests in accordance with ISO 11451 series, ISO 11452 series, ISO 7637 series, ISO 10605, CISPR 12, CISPR 25, and CISPR 36.
§ Experience in evaluation using RF measurement equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
§ Knowledge of wireless communication equipment (antenna fundamentals, transmission line fundamentals) and experience in design and/or measurement and evaluation.

Strong command over Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Quality Systems, Operations Excellence is essential to sustain defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
The CAE Engineer / Analyst - EMC, EMI CAE position at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (Gurugram) carries an annual CTC range of ₹9L – ₹16L per annum (approx. ₹75,000 – ₹1,33,333 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in ENGG.

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- 6 to 9 years of progressive experience in ENGG or closely aligned roles comparable to CAE Engineer / Analyst - EMC, EMI CAE.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers in a Onsite setup in Gurugram.
- Proven track record of owning technical architecture RFCs, schema designs, and API contract specifications and driving measurable gains in defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical industry experience required for Mid-Senior Level roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Automated CI/CD Pipelines with the ability to synthesize complex operational data into clear decisions.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling distributed application services and resilient API gateways within ENGG teams in Gurugram or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Automated CI/CD Pipelines, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.

Salary & Compensation Breakdown

Annual CTC is structured between ₹9 Lakhs and ₹16 Lakhs per annum (approx. ₹75,000 – ₹1,33,333/month) based on interview performance, Engineering & Automotive Engineering depth, and 6 to 9 years of progressive experience.
