Job Title: CAE Engineer / Analyst - Crash & Safety CAE Background
i) Educational Qualification Essential: BE / B Tech (preferably Mechanical) Desirable: ME / M Tech (preferably Mechanical Design or equivalent) ii) Experience Minimum: 04 Maximum: 10 Job Role & Responsibilities:- Role: Vehicle Crash CAE Simulation & Evaluation
Responsibilities: • Prepare Full vehicle CAE models using HYPERMESH/ANSA/PRIMER – Mesh discretization, Assembly, Constraints & Load setting – for automotive sub-systems and components.
• System and Full vehicle simulation using LS-Dyna software. Development of Vehicle Body and aggregates for Crash & Occupant Safety using CAE.
• Model Optimization and Robustness using DiffCrash, ModeFrontier, LS-OPT.
• Interpretation of results in LS-PrePost/Hyperview/Hypergraph - comprehend failure modes and provide directions for countermeasures by performing parameter studies on the FEM model.
• Report preparation and communication with stakeholders – design, testing – for implementation of countermeasures.
• Interact with Testing teams for analyzing failures, correlation of CAE results with physical testing results and making improvements in CAE methodology. Competency Requirements
Technical / Functional: • Strong fundamentals in Strength of Materials, Theory of Elasticity / Plasticity.
• Good understanding of Automotive Body, Sheet metal & Plastic part design.
• Knowledge of AIS Safety Regulations, NCAP protocols.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and experience of working in Automotive Crash & Occupant Safety CAE domain – model building and carrying out System Level / Full vehicle simulations.
• Debug the CAE model for LS-Dyna environment, interpret the results, post process the deck.
• Should have experience of working with CAE engineers and making design modifications based on CAE inputs.
• Experience in interpreting and understanding FEA results, post-processing and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with countermeasure proposals for meeting performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the ENGG pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
- Lead high-throughput data processing engines and customer-facing product modules for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd's ENGG function in Gurgaon, ensuring full alignment with quarterly delivery roadmaps.
- Partner with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers to streamline workflows, resolve cross-team bottlenecks, and accelerate cloud-native microservices and automated deployment pipelines.
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases across the Gurgaon (India) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Maruti Suzuki India Ltd leadership.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- 4 to 10 years of progressive experience in ENGG or closely aligned roles comparable to CAE Engineer / Analyst - Crash & Safety CAE.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers in a Onsite setup in Gurgaon.
- Proven track record of owning security-compliant service modules with strict error handling and failover and driving measurable gains in defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical industry experience required for Mid-Senior Level roles.
- Strong working knowledge of APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes with the ability to synthesize complex operational data into clear decisions.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling cloud-native microservices and automated deployment pipelines within ENGG teams in Gurgaon or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
