Job Summary NCR VOYIX Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in software development using .NET, C#, Kubernetes, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise-grade applications while working in a collaborative Agile environment. Job Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes environments.
• Create, optimize, and maintain database objects, stored procedures, and queries in SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and software delivery improvements.
• Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details as required. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience working with SQL Server, including database development and query optimization.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred: Experience with Go web frameworks (Gin, Echo, Fiber); Oracle performance tuning; Docker/Kubernetes; Azure or AWS; observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics); payment processing or financial transaction platform experience. In day-to-day execution, the Software Engineer partners closely with product managers, principal architects, and QA automation pods to translate quarterly business priorities into observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases. You will leverage Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing alongside core competencies in AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes to maintain high operational rigor.
The Software Engineer position at NCR Voyix (Chennai) carries an annual CTC range of ₹6L – ₹9L per annum (approx. ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in Software Development.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures within Software Development teams in Chennai or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.

Salary & Compensation Breakdown
