Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and scale mission-critical software solutions and distributed systems for PhonePe.
- Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, and QA teams to define scalable architecture patterns.
- Champion engineering excellence through thorough code reviews, unit testing, and continuous deployment.
- Drive performance tuning, latency optimization, and robust API design.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- 5–10 years of hands-on professional experience in relevant domain.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or relevant academic discipline.
- Proven track record in driving scalable results, team leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and exceptional communication skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling low-latency production systems and modular frontend/backend architectures within Software Engineering teams in Bengaluru or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Automated CI/CD Pipelines and APM & Distributed Tracing, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
