• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems and application modules at Walmart Global Tech India.
• Work with product leads and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into scalable web services.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and improve automated testing coverage.
• Monitor system health, analyze production metrics, and resolve architectural bottlenecks. Qualifications & Core Skills:
• B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated depth in modern web development frameworks, asynchronous architectures, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and relational/NoSQL datastores.
• Strong command of software design principles, data structures, and maintainable code craftsmanship.
In day-to-day execution, the (IND) Software Engineer III partners closely with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers to translate quarterly business priorities into technical architecture RFCs, schema designs, and API contract specifications. You will leverage Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Automated CI/CD Pipelines alongside core competencies in TypeScript & JavaScript, React & Modern UI, Node.js & Microservices, Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP) to maintain high operational rigor.
The (IND) Software Engineer III position at Walmart Global Tech India (Chennai) carries an annual CTC range of ₹6L – ₹10L per annum (approx. ₹50,000 – ₹83,333 per month gross), benchmarked to experienced professional standards in All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed).

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

- Prior exposure to scaling distributed application services and resilient API gateways within All Categories (Multi-Domain Omni-Feed) teams in Chennai or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, Modern Cloud Stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Automated CI/CD Pipelines, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
