The Dev Lead – Senior Full Stack AI Engineer position at Persistent Systems (Pune City) carries an annual CTC range of ₹17L – ₹26L per annum (approx. ₹1,41,667 – ₹2,16,667 per month gross), benchmarked to mid-senior level standards in Software Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish repeatable SOPs and performance instrumentation for observability telemetry, latency optimizations, and zero-downtime releases across the Pune City (Maharashtra) operating unit.
- Conduct periodic diagnostic audits on defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability and present data-backed optimization recommendations to Persistent Systems leadership.
- Design, review, and publish security-compliant service modules with strict error handling and failover while maintaining strict governance across defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- Apply hands-on expertise in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design and APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes to elevate output quality and execution speed.
- Mentor peers and junior contributors within the Software Engineering pod, fostering high accountability and continuous process improvement at Persistent Systems.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills for collaborating with DevOps platform teams, security engineers, and UX designers in a Onsite setup in Pune City.
- Proven track record of owning security-compliant service modules with strict error handling and failover and driving measurable gains in defect escape rate, code review turnaround, and throughput scalability.
- 7 to 12 years of progressive experience in Software Engineering or closely aligned roles comparable to Dev Lead – Senior Full Stack AI Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes with the ability to synthesize complex operational data into clear decisions.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, System Design, TypeScript / Java / Python within a fast-paced enterprise or high-growth environment.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Prior exposure to scaling cloud-native microservices and automated deployment pipelines within Software Engineering teams in Pune City or comparable Indian enterprise hubs.
- Familiarity with automation workflows, APM & Distributed Tracing and Git, Docker & Kubernetes, and modern reporting standards.
- Experience mentoring cross-functional contributors or managing end-to-end delivery SLAs.
